Cansu Dere is a Turkish actress, television presenter and former model, born in Ankara on 14 October 1980. She began her television career as a presenter before moving into acting. Dere studied Archaeology at the Faculty of Letters of Istanbul University, although available sources differ on whether she completed the programme. Her screen work includes several prominent television dramas. Between 2006 and 2008, she played Sıla Sönmez in Sila. She portrayed Eyşan Tezcan Atay in Ezel from 2009 to 2011. In 2016–2017, she appeared as Zeynep Güneş in Mother, the Star TV adaptation of the Japanese series MOTHER. From 2020 to 2022, she played Asya Yılmaz in A Woman Scorned. These roles represent the central line of her television career.
