Privacy and Cookie Policy

turkdizisi.com is a TV series archive with no payments. If you use the series-follow feature in the Arabic section, a passwordless account is created and your e-mail address is stored so we can send the new episode date. It uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and certain on-site interactions (such as searches, and views of and clicks on affiliate links and ad spaces), which places cookies. No personal data is sold, and there is no personalised advertising, remarketing or profiling. Google Analytics 4 loads only if you allow it in the cookie banner at the bottom of the page; if you do not, no measurement cookies are set.

Data controller

Data processed

  • Analytics data (Google Analytics 4) — Pages viewed, referral source, approximate location (country/city derived from IP), device and browser information, session duration. Google truncates the IP address on collection and does not store the raw IP. Certain on-site interactions are also recorded as events: on-site search terms, series-follow and quiz steps, content interactions (streaming-platform links and the selected country, cast and related-series links, opening FAQs and episodes, recommendation and share clicks), and views of and clicks on affiliate links and on the site owner's ad spaces, together with the advertiser, link or campaign ID, placement, page and language. Google Signals is turned off and no ad-personalisation signals are sent.
  • Server access logs (Vercel) — The hosting provider keeps request logs for security and error diagnosis; these may include IP address and browser information.
  • Cookieless visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) — Address of the page viewed, referring site, approximate location (country/region/city), operating system, browser and device type. No cookies are used; visitors are distinguished by a hash derived from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. The data is used only for aggregate statistics.
  • E-mail address and follow account (Arabic section only) — If you choose to use the series-follow form in the Arabic section, your e-mail address is stored to send the new episode dates of the series you follow, and it is kept until you delete your account. Sign-in uses a single-use link valid for 60 minutes; only a hash of the link is stored. When a sign-in link is requested, your e-mail address is kept with that request for 7 days, even if the link is never used; to prevent abuse, keyed hashes of the e-mail and IP address are also kept for 7 days; the full IP address is not stored. The log of notifications sent is deleted after 90 days. Every notification contains a link to stop following, and you can delete your account entirely from the «مسلسلاتي» (My series) page.

Not collected

  • No passwords or names are collected; an e-mail address is collected only if you use the series-follow feature in the Arabic section.
  • The site has no comment fields, newsletter sign-up or payments; the only form is the series-follow form in the Arabic section.
  • No advertising, remarketing or profiling cookies are used.
  • Personal data is not sold or transferred to third parties for marketing. Commercial links carry only campaign parameters (see “Commercial and affiliate links” below).
  • No ad network, Meta Pixel or Google Ads tag is loaded, and personal data is not used to build advertising profiles.

Cookies

Measurement cookies are used; in addition, a strictly necessary session cookie may be used to keep you signed in for the Arabic series-follow feature. There are no advertising or remarketing cookies. Some information, such as the source of your first visit and a dismissed ad bar, is kept only in your browser's storage (local or session storage); the source information is attached to measurement events related to the follow feature. Blocking cookies in your browser does not affect access to the site's content. Measurement cookies (_ga) are set only with your consent. Your cookie choice is kept in your browser's local storage (td_riza) for 12 months; after that you will be asked again.

  • _ga — Distinguishes visitors; only with your consent. Duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_V5G4D78YRP — Holds Google Analytics 4 session state; only with your consent. Duration: 2 years.
  • __Host-td_oturum — Keeps you signed in after login for the Arabic series-follow feature (strictly necessary); cannot be read by JavaScript. Duration: 30 days; deleted when you sign out or delete your account.

Commercial and affiliate links

  • Some pages contain two kinds of labelled commercial links: GetYourGuide and Viator affiliate links on the Arabic-, Russian-, English- and Serbian-language series pages, and ad spaces promoting the site owner's other services (TemizTedarik, İngilizce Yeminli Çeviri / Sworn English Translation, TraducteurTurc) on the Turkish-, Arabic- and English-language series pages and home pages.
  • Displaying these links does not send any request to the destination sites; no images, scripts or tracking pixels are loaded from them. A connection to a destination site is made only when you click.
  • When you click, the destination site processes data under its own privacy and cookie policy. Links may contain campaign parameters that show the visit came from this site (for example utm_source=turkdizisi or a partner or campaign ID); they do not contain personal data such as your name or e-mail address.
  • If you book through an affiliate link, the site may earn a commission. The site does not receive your name, contact details or payment information from these providers.
  • Google Analytics 4 records how often these spaces are shown and clicked in order to measure how the commercial areas perform; this data is not used to build advertising profiles or to show personalised ads.
  • Which service an ad space shows may be chosen according to the country your request comes from at that moment (for example, a USCIS document-translation service for visitors from the United States, or a UKVI service for visitors from the United Kingdom). This country code is read instantly from the country value that the hosting provider attaches to the request; it is not stored separately, is not kept in a cookie and is not linked to any personal profile.

Third-party services

  • Google Analytics 4 — Measurement of traffic and on-site interactions. Data may be processed by Google outside your country.
  • Vercel — Hosting, content delivery and cookieless visit statistics (Web Analytics).
  • Cloudflare — Runs the series-follow service in the Arabic section: database and e-mail delivery. Data may be processed outside your country.
  • TMDB — Some posters and stills load from image.tmdb.org; your IP address is visible to TMDB during that request.
  • Wikimedia — A limited number of images load from Wikimedia servers.
  • YouTube — Trailers load from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play; no request reaches YouTube until you click.

Your rights

Under Turkey's KVKK art. 11 and — if you are in the European Union — the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request information about the data processed about you
  • Request rectification or erasure of that data
  • Object to processing and request restriction of processing
  • Learn which third parties the data is shared with

Cookie preferences and withdrawing consent

Google Analytics runs only if you choose «Accept» in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the «Cookie preferences» link at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw consent, this site's Analytics cookies are deleted and measurement stops.
