Plot
Alacakaranlık is a police drama that begins with the transfer of experienced homicide chief inspector Tahir Kemal Bozoğlu from Urfa to Istanbul. Tahir moves there because he misses his young daughter and divorced wife. After taking up his new post, he removes young detective Ferit Çağlayan from duty following a mistake. Ferit sees Tahir as a professional role model and struggles to accept the decision. While Ferit has a long-standing relationship with Melike, his growing closeness to Songül exposes him to dangerous circles and the underworld. Tahir tries to pull the younger officer away from that environment, and their initial conflict gradually gives way to cooperation as the investigation develops.
