Plot
Fatmagül lives in Çeşme and is preparing to marry Mustafa, a fisherman. After Selim Yaşaran’s engagement celebration, Fatmagül is assaulted by a group including Selim, Erdoğan, Vural, and Kerim. Mustafa leaves her, while the Yaşaran family and their lawyer Münir arrange Kerim’s marriage to Fatmagül in an attempt to suppress the scandal. Fatmagül believes Kerim was one of her attackers. As it becomes clear that Kerim did not participate in the assault, their forced marriage develops into a difficult process involving trust, accountability, justice, and emotional recovery.
