Biography
Fırat Çelik is a Turkish actor born on March 25, 1981, in Ostfildern, Germany. He spent part of his childhood in Tunceli and moved to France with his family at the age of nine. In Paris, he studied economics and administrative sciences at Lycée Langevin Wallon. Before pursuing acting, he worked in different jobs and also modelled. Encouraged by Raymond Acquaviva, he joined the Sudden Theatre workshops and trained there for approximately one year. His professional stage career began in 2006, when he played Fred in Otomatik Portakal, Thierry Harcourt’s adaptation of Anthony Burgess’s novel. In 2007, he joined the Comédie de Paris company and appeared as Kevin in Effets Secondaires. His early screen work included Welcome. After beginning his Turkish television career with Kış Masalı, he became widely associated with Mustafa Nalçalı in What is Fatmagul's Fault?, Komiser Ozan in 20 Dakika and Ozan in Saklı.
