Sumru Yavrucuk is an actress in film, television and theatre, as well as a director. She studied singing and theatre at the Istanbul Municipal Conservatory before moving to the Singing Department of the Ankara State Conservatory. She joined the Istanbul State Theatres in 1982 and entered television series with Önce Canan in 1988.
