Biography
Binnur Kaya is a Turkish actress born in Ankara on 19 April 1972. She studied theatre at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of Bilkent University and graduated in 1995. After completing her education, she worked with Ankara Sahnesi, the Karatahta children’s theatres and Bakırköy Municipal Theatre. She later joined the Beşiktaş Culture Center ensemble, continuing her stage work alongside television and cinema projects. One of her early theatre credits is Sen Hiç Ateşböceği Gördün mü? Her screen work includes the films Babam ve Oğlum and Vavien, as well as the television series Avrupa Yakası, Kırmızı Oda and Güzel Günler. In these productions, she portrayed Hanife, Sevilay, Şahika Koçarslanlı, Dilber Hala, Doktor Hanım and Kıymet. Kaya’s selected work reflects a range of comedy, drama and family-oriented stories across stage, film and television.
