Plot
Sancar Efeoğlu, the son of a sharecropper from the Muğla region, falls in love with Nare Çelebi, the daughter of Ambassador Güven Çelebi, when they are children. They maintain their relationship for years and eventually decide to run away together, but Nare disappears on the night they are meant to reunite. Nine years later, she returns at Sancar’s wedding with their daughter, Melek. Her return reopens the couple’s past, raises a custody conflict and exposes tensions within the Efeoğlu family. Gediz Işıklı, Sancar’s close friend and business partner, also falls in love with Nare, turning the friends’ relationship into a rivalry. The later story follows family pressure, threats from Nare’s past, custody struggles, new marriage decisions and the characters’ attempts to build different lives.
