Plot
Oya, Merve, Pelin and Arzu were close friends in high school. After Oya was falsely accused of having a relationship with a teacher and was forced to leave Sarmaşık, the four women went their separate ways. Nearly 20 years later, Oya returns, and the old friendships, resentments and secrets resurface. Merve and Pelin try to preserve their influence in the affluent Sarmaşık community, while Arzu is caught between loyalty, family life and changing circumstances. Oya’s return also destabilizes existing marriages and relationships, especially when Serhan, Merve’s husband, develops feelings for Oya. The series combines a women-centered power struggle with questions of revenge, jealousy, morality and a murder investigation.
