Plot
Ömer is a police commissioner based in Van, while Elif is a successful jewelry designer living in Rome. When Ömer’s fiancée Sibel and Elif’s father Ahmet Denizer are found shot dead in the same car, Ömer tries to understand why they were together and who killed them. Elif also begins questioning her father’s debts and his involvement in the dirty-money market. Threatened by Tayyar over missing diamonds, and pushed further into danger when her younger sister Nilüfer is kidnapped, Elif is drawn into an investigation with Ömer. Their search connects the murders to diamonds, money laundering and Tayyar’s criminal network. Despite the conflict between Ömer’s duty as a police officer and Elif’s involvement in illegal activities, they gradually learn to trust each other and fall in love. Ömer and Elif eventually expose Tayyar as the person responsible for the murders and ensure that he is prosecuted. In the finale, Ömer and Elif marry.
