Plot
After being appointed governor of Erzincan, Faruk Yazıcı confronts long-standing infrastructure, bureaucratic and security problems. At the center of the story is a bridge over the Karasu that has reportedly remained unbuilt for nearly thirty years, making it difficult for patients to reach hospitals and children to reach school. Yazıcı attempts to complete the project despite bureaucratic resistance, political indifference, local power structures and security pressures. The series draws on the Erzincan service period of real governor Recep Yazıcıoğlu, but presents its protagonist under the fictional name Faruk Yazıcı and should not be treated as a literal documentary biography.
