Karadayi (Karadayı) is a Turkish family, action, drama series broadcast on atv, first aired in 2012. Plot
In 1973 Istanbul, the Kara family lives among the shopkeepers of Beyazıt. Mahir Kara is preparing to become engaged to his childhood friend Ayten when his father, Nazif, is accused of murdering a chief prosecutor and sentenced to death. Believing that Nazif has been framed, Mahir sets out to find the real killer and save his father. His investigation brings him into contact with Feride Şadoğlu, an idealistic Heavy Penal Court president whose professional position is tied to Nazif’s case. As Mahir’s search exposes links between the courthouse, criminal networks and powerful figures, his growing relationship with Feride creates a conflict between love, secrecy and the law.
