Plot
Perihan Emgen has built a privileged life through years of struggle, with her daughter Berna and grandchildren Duru, Şahin and Ece at its centre. Her deepest secret is Ferda, the daughter she abandoned as an infant. When Ferda re-enters Perihan’s family, she begins an affair with Berna’s husband, Fikret. After Perihan learns that she has terminal cancer, she and Ferda temporarily form an alliance against Ahmet. In the finale, Perihan poisons Ferda in an attempt to end the pain of the past.
