Plot
Kemal works as a porter in Eminönü alongside his master Derviş and his fellow porters, known as Son Kafile. Yet his greatest burden is the weight of a grave sin from the days when the world knew him as “Kemal of Harput.” A sudden death draws him back into the darkness of his past. Hayat earns her living by singing in various venues while struggling to stay on her feet. As Kemal and Hayat pursue redemption together, they come up against Egemen, a figure from Kemal’s past who is preparing to build his own kingdom by sacrificing one side of Istanbul to the other. This time Kemal fights not only for revenge, but to protect the lives of those he loves. The series places a difficult love story and a struggle for power between Istanbul’s old inns and modern towers, shared bread and stolen millions.
