Plot
Aslı, who is waiting for a heart transplant, lives a modest life with her mother Hülya and siblings Sezin and Murat. After Melike, the daughter of the wealthy Alkan family, dies in an accident, Aslı receives Melike’s heart and begins a second life. Reyhan, Melike’s mother, develops an intense protective attachment to Aslı, while Hülya tries to protect her daughter and secure her family’s future. The two mothers’ different forms of attachment deepen the emotional and class tensions between the families. Meanwhile, a conflicted closeness develops between Aslı and Aras, the Alkan family’s son. Secrets from the past, threats and the consequences of Melike’s death gradually transform both Aslı’s new life and the relationship between the two families. The series ended with its 13th episode.

Production and broadcast context
Çarpıntı was produced by OGM Pictures and broadcast on Star TV. Burcu Alptekin is listed as the director, with Deniz Dargı, Cem Görgeç and Mevsim Yenice credited as writers. The first episode aired on September 7, 2025, and the series ended with episode 13.
Heart transplantation, grief and motherhood
The heart transplant at the center of the series is used not only as a medical event that allows Aslı to survive, but also as a dramatic device that brings two mothers’ grief and possessiveness into conflict through the same person. Reyhan’s loss and Hülya’s effort to protect her daughter make the meaning and limits of family and motherhood contested subjects.
Class and emotional tension between two families
The contrast between Aslı’s modest life and the wealthy, prominent Alkan family turns their encounter into more than a personal connection. The series places this meeting within a network of family secrets, economic pressure and competing forms of protection.
