Plot
Forbidden Fruit follows sisters Zeynep and Yıldız, whose different expectations of life lead them into separate but increasingly connected conflicts. Ender, the wife of businessman Halit Argun, brings Yıldız into a plan designed to secure financial independence after divorce. Yıldız exposes the plan and enters the Argun family, turning the original scheme into a long-running rivalry between the two women. As new figures such as Doğan Yıldırım and his daughter Kumru enter the story, the series expands into a melodramatic and often comic account of family, status, marriage and power in Istanbul’s affluent circles.
