Berkay Ateş graduated from the Theater Department of Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts and began his theater studies at Semaver Kumpanya. He made his film debut with Abluka and played Cengiz Yıldız in the series Anne. He received the Promising Young Actor Award at the 22nd Golden Boll Film Festival.
