Sihirli Annem is a Turkish children, fantasy, family series broadcast on Kanal D, Star TV, first aired in 2003. Plot
Sihirli Annem is a fantasy family comedy centered on Betüş, a fairy, and Sadık, a widower raising Cem and Ceren. Sadık initially does not know that Betüş is a fairy. Dudu, Betüş’s fairy mother, opposes her daughter’s marriage to a human and uses magic in attempts to break up the family. Betüş and Sadık later adopt Çilek, an orphaned child from the Fairyland. The series combines everyday family and neighborhood life with conflicts and misunderstandings caused by magic.
