Ümit Çırak works in acting. He entered the Mathematics Department of Istanbul University’s Faculty of Science in 1987 and began studying in the Theatre Department of Müjdat Gezen Art Center in 1991. That same year, he became Oğuz Aral’s pantomime assistant. In 1993, he had his first professional stage experience in a play directed by Savaş Dinçel and graduated in 1995.
