Biography
Bihter Dinçel is an actress and playwright born in Diyarbakır in 1982. She graduated from the Philosophy Department of Ege University’s Faculty of Letters. Since 2001, she has worked across theatre, television, and cinema. In İzmir, plays she wrote were staged by independent theatre companies; notable early works include Hiç, Bak Bir Bulut Ağlıyor, and the one-person production Ayna Ayna. In 2006, she joined the BKM Mutfak Atölye workshops and made her television debut in Avrupa Yakası as Zeynep Hacer Aksoy. She later played Nazan in Geniş Aile, Hande Boztepe in Tehlikeli Karım, Selvi in Mucize Doktor, and Birsen in Yürek Çıkmazı. Alongside acting, she has continued writing for the stage. Her book Gebelere Balon was published in 2013.
