What's in this series?
Production context
Kuzgun was produced by Ay Yapım, written by Burcu Görgün Toptaş and Özlem Yılmaz, and directed by Bahadır İnce. The story is set in Istanbul, while the first two weeks of filming took place in the Cappadocia region. Barış Arduç and Burcu Biricik lead the cast.
Conflict between revenge and love
The central dramatic conflict is built around Kuzgun’s desire to avenge the injustice suffered by his father and his love for Dila. Because Dila is the daughter of Kuzgun’s enemy, family ties and personal loyalty are placed in opposition to revenge.
Family, crime and loyalty
The fragmentation of Kuzgun’s family, Rıfat’s transition from police officer to a figure connected to the criminal underworld, and Şeref Dağıstanlı’s power built through drug and arms trafficking form the fictional background that combines family drama with crime conflict.
