Family secrets, identity and power
Official promotional texts place Azil's search for his identity at the center of the story, combining family drama, love, revenge, intrigue and moral conflict. The movement from life at sea on the Black Sea to the Maçari family's world in Istanbul creates the story's main spatial contrast.
A fictional world between the Black Sea and Istanbul

The series as described by its lead actors
In interviews published by atv, the lead actors described the Azil-Güneş relationship as a powerful love story and the wider narrative as a combination of family drama, action and dramatic conflict.
