Plot

Ekim is a high-school student from a middle-class neighborhood. When a car hits her closest friend Leyla and flees, Ekim becomes convinced that the vehicle was hidden inside the nearby Gerçek College, a private school attended by wealthy students. She, Bekir and Ayşe receive scholarships and enter the school, but Ekim’s real purpose is to uncover the truth. Behind the school’s privileged image is a system of bullying led by a group of students, while idealistic teacher Selim Bender realizes that the students are hiding a secret. [s1][s2] In the finale, Ekim and Kanat reconcile, Rıza is sent to prison after his hearing, and Leyla decides to try acting instead of pursuing a career as a lawyer. A dangerous confrontation involving Mevlüt and a gun places the school play’s rehearsal at the center of the final suspense, followed by a transition two years into the future. [s3]
