Plot
The series focuses on Haluk and Meltem’s troubled marriage. Haluk is portrayed as a traditional family patriarch who hides his emotions behind a tough “stone-oven man” persona, while Meltem is an educated, working mother with a more modern outlook and a strong expectation of romance and communication. As the couple approach divorce, they try to prevent their children, Duygu and Emre, from realizing what is happening. Their domestic disagreements expand through their relationships with friends Gönül and Selami, Meltem’s father Müsteşar Kemal and the people in their neighbourhood.
