Plot
Afife is a screenwriter who is forced by financial hardship to run a small restaurant. Kemal, a debt collector and heir to a loan-sharking family, enters her life to collect what she owes. Their encounter, which initially appears to be a simple debt dispute, leads both of them to question their ideas about love, morality and family loyalty. As Afife tries to keep her restaurant and family afloat while returning to screenwriting, Kemal confronts his family’s order, police surveillance and his own past. Across the eight-episode first season, their growing relationship unfolds alongside debts, secrets and family conflicts involving Baturay, Neslihan, Muharrem, Perihan and the Kazan family.
