Plot
Young Spanish-descended human-rights activist Rosa Sofia Martinez learns that a blow sustained during a Gaza protest in London has revealed a life-threatening weakness in a blood vessel in her brain. Soon afterward, she discovers that her father was Turkish and abandoned her mother before Rosa was born. She travels to Istanbul to find him and confront the past. There, she meets Ali Aydan again; they had first encountered each other at the protest.
