Semra Dinçer was a Turkish film and television actress born in Ankara on 25 July 1965. She had no formal acting education and built her career through practical work in the profession, a path often described in Türkiye as being self-taught. One of her early screen appearances was in the television series Köşe Dönücü in 1984. Her career encompassed television dramas as well as feature films, and she also received credits as a screenwriter on several projects. Yılan Hikayesi, Tatlı Hayat and Filler ve Çimen belong to the earlier part of her recorded filmography. In later productions, she played Adalet Hemşire in Derman, Hatun in Emanet and Reyhan Sezgin in İstanbullu Gelin. Her role as Handan Tekinoğlu in Kuzey Güney is among her best-documented television credits. Ali was one of her later film appearances.
