Mehmet Gürhan, whose full name is Mehmet Sezai Gürhan, was born in Istanbul on 25 November 1962. He is an actor whose work spans theatre, cinema and television. After studying at the Istanbul Municipal Conservatory, he completed the Higher Division of Theatre at Mimar Sinan University. His professional career has been closely associated with the Istanbul City Theatres, where he appeared in productions including Hamlet, Karım ve Kızım, Gazete Gazete, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Crime and Punishment, The Cherry Orchard and Mikado’nun Çöpleri. Alongside his stage work, he has acted in television series and films. His selected screen credits include Kemal Akarsu in Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki, Sedat Hanoğlu in Üç Arkadaş and Mehmet Ersöz in Tutsak. He has also worked as an instructor in voice, diction and spoken communication, extending his professional practice beyond performance.
