Biography

Gözde Kocaoğlu is a Turkish actress born in Izmir on February 3, 1986. She studied acting at the Department of Acting within Dokuz Eylul University’s Faculty of Fine Arts and graduated in 2009. Her early interest in performance developed through theatre courses connected with Konak Municipal Theatre in Izmir, leading to professional stage work. One of her first television appearances was in the 2010 series Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne?, where she played Deniz Ilgaz. She also appeared in Yerden Yüksek during the same period. Her film credits include the 2011 production Kaybedenler Kulübü, in which she was credited as Yurttaki Kız-1. Her documented theatre work includes Punk Rock, staged in 2010. A wider television audience encountered her as Çağla in the 2016 series Aşk Laftan Anlamaz. Her documented career therefore spans television drama, feature film and theatre, with screen and stage work developing alongside one another.
