Plot
Şefkat Tepe is set in southeastern Turkey in 1997, amid intense terrorist violence. As soldiers are targeted, civilians are classified as supporters of either the organization or the state, homes are burned, and families suffer, military personnel and local residents face continuing conflict and loss. Lieutenant Serdar and the soldiers around him fight the organization while trying to protect civilians. The series combines action and melodrama with military conflict, the suffering of families, and a stated theme against dividing people along Turkish-Kurdish lines.
