Plot
Alaeddin Keykubat is imprisoned after the betrayal of his mother and the atabeg he regarded as a father, spending eight years behind bars. When he emerges, he encounters Ayaba, a figure connected to his past, and soon becomes the new ruler of the Seljuk state. His return to Konya revives old conflicts within the dynasty and the palace. His half-brother Melik Celaleddin seeks the throne, while his mother Ümmühan Hatun acts to protect his rule. Destina, daughter and heir of Kir Vard of Kalonoros, has never forgotten the mysterious man who once touched her life. When she learns that he is now Sultan Alaeddin, she travels to Konya in disguise. There she realizes that the man she loved and the enemy she was taught to hate are the same person. Alaeddin, meanwhile, searches for the owner of the green eyes he drew from memory in prison, while facing a condition for keeping the throne: marriage to his cousin Melike Hüma Hatun. Love, dynastic ties and the struggle for power become inseparable in the palace.
